Luke 9:25 For what

John 6:27 Labor not
for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting
life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father
sealed. 28 Then said they unto him, what shall we do, that we might work the
works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God,
that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
2Ti 2:4 No man that
warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may
please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Eccl 3:9 What profit
hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?
2Th 3:10 For even
when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work,
neither should he eat.
Eccl 2:24 There
is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and
drink, and that he should make his soul good in his labor. This also I
saw, that it was from the hand of God.
1Co 3:8 Now he that
planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own
reward according to his own labor.
1Ti 5:17 Let the
elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who
labor in the word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture saith, Thou shalt not
muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, the laborer is worthy
of his reward.
Mat 6:25 Therefore I
say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more
than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they
sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father
feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking
thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for
raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his
glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the
grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall
he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink?
or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the
Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these
Mat 6:33 But seek ye
first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be
added unto you.
John 18:36 Jesus
answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world,
then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but
now is my kingdom not from hence.
Rom 14:17 For the
kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in
the Holy Ghost.
